【SUMMARY】 On June 12, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized more than 40 Party members to visit the revolutionary holy site in Pingshan, where they studied Party history, deepened their understanding of its guiding principles, retraced the footsteps of the revolution, commemorated its glorious journey, upheld their original aspiration and mission, and rekindled their vigorous fighting spirit as they set out anew.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 12, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized more than 40 Party members to visit the revolutionary holy site in Pingshan, where they studied Party history, deepened their understanding of its guiding principles, retraced the footsteps of the revolution, commemorated its glorious journey, upheld their original aspiration and mission, and rekindled their fighting spirit as they set out anew. This event was part of the Party Committee’s series of activities celebrating the Party’s centenary and its ongoing study-and-education campaign on Party history.

In front of the plaza of the Exhibition Hall at the Former Site of the Central United Front Work Department in Lijiazhuang, Pingshan, all Party members solemnly raised their right fists toward the bright red Party flag and reaffirmed their oath of admission. Each word carried immense weight, as firm as iron; the resounding, majestic oath profoundly moved every Party member present. Every single phrase was sacred and heroic, and the unwavering pledge eloquently expressed their loyal love for the Party and their steadfast conviction to dedicate their entire lives to the cause of communism.

Li Jiazhuang is nestled against the mountains and beside the water, boasting picturesque landscapes and a glorious historical legacy that inspires awe. Within the former site of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, party members listened attentively to the guide’s heartfelt explanations and viewed a series of vivid and moving historical photographs and precious cultural relics, gaining a deeper understanding of Li Jiazhuang’s pivotal role in the history of the CPC’s united front and appreciating the spirit of mutual trust, unwavering solidarity, and shared adversity that characterized the relationship between the CPC and the leaders of the non-CPC political parties in earlier generations.

Visiting the sacred sites of the revolution and carrying forward the red spirit. Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., stated: “The original aspiration of the Party has grown ever firmer over the past century. The Chinese Communist Party has followed the trend of historical development and courageously shouldered the historic mission of achieving national independence, people’s liberation, national prosperity, and the happiness of the people. Over the past hundred years, no matter how the global landscape has changed, the Party has remained steadfast in its lofty ideals, never ceasing to strive, and has provided compelling evidence through concrete achievements that answers why the CPC is capable, why Marxism works, and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is superior. As Communists in the new era, we must draw strength for progress from studying the history of the Party, fulfill our duties and responsibilities in our respective posts, and set out once again with our original aspirations firmly in mind.”

“Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China…” A clear, rousing melody rang out from the plaza outside the Cao Huoxing Memorial Hall. The powerful song echoed the original aspiration of the Party, as more than 40 Party members joined in unison at the hometown of Cao Huoxing—the author of the lyrics and music for “Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China”—expressing their boundless loyalty and love for the Party, as well as their lofty ambitions and sense of mission to shine ever brighter for the Party flag by fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability. Wu Bin, a postdoctoral researcher at the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, said with deep emotion: “The history of the Party is the finest textbook, teaching us to hold fast to our faith and strive unremittingly. As a Party member engaged in scientific research, I will learn from the unwavering spirit of struggle and dedication of the older generation of Communists, identify shortcomings in my work through the new development philosophy, seek truth from facts and be pragmatic, continuously produce research breakthroughs that benefit public health, and use my professional expertise to contribute to the glory of the Party flag.” Today, at the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, where Wu Bin works, 34 Communist Party members are actively involved in the front lines of scientific innovation, shouldering important missions and heavy responsibilities. They are targeting the cutting edge of new drug discovery and development, vigorously pursuing research on small-molecule chemical drugs, novel drug-delivery systems, and generic pharmaceutical product lines—especially groundbreaking, disruptive innovations, breakthrough therapies, and milestone-targeted drugs for major diseases—thereby using their youth, wisdom, and sense of responsibility to chart a new course for the company’s product restructuring and transformation and upgrading. At present, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has nearly 200 new products in development, including several Class 1 innovative drugs, and its innovative capabilities have earned widespread recognition within the industry.

The Party Day activities have profoundly educated Party members, who unanimously expressed that such themed events have further deepened their Party spirit and once again purified their minds. They pledged to faithfully uphold the vows they made under the Party flag, to constantly hold themselves to the rigorous standards of an outstanding Communist Party member, to remain steadfast in their faith, to work diligently and pragmatically, and to bravely assume responsibility. They vowed to inherit and carry forward the Party’s glorious traditions and fine style, to ground their efforts in their respective posts, to fully exemplify the vanguard and model role of Party members, to translate their original aspirations and mission into concrete actions, and to celebrate the Party’s centenary with outstanding achievements.

Since the launch of the Party history study and education campaign, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has organized a series of specialized Party lectures, online Party history quizzes, and the selection of “Two Outstanding Individuals and One Advanced Collective,” tailored to local conditions and the specific needs of the moment. The committee has also arranged for Party members to visit revolutionary holy sites and other such locations for on-site learning, and has carried out in-depth publicity and education activities under the theme “Inheriting the Red Legacy to Uphold Our Original Aspiration, with the Party Flag Flying at the Front Lines.” These efforts have inspired Party members and employees to embrace the spirit of “working for the Party, shouldering national responsibilities, and dedicating themselves to their posts,” thereby boosting the company’s efforts to achieve breakthroughs in R&D, market expansion, production capacity, and technological innovation, and helping it to surpass the halfway mark in both revenue and profit targets while accelerating its journey toward innovative, green, and high-quality development.
