This June marks the 20th National Safety Production Month, with the theme “Implement Safety Responsibilities and Promote Safe Development.” To further advance Safety Production Month activities, ensure that safety responsibilities are fully implemented, foster a safe, healthy, and harmoniously developed production environment, and support the high-quality development of the enterprise, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group hosted a safety production knowledge competition on June 24. The event was attended by Group President Wu Hengyao, Executive President Wei Wenliang, Union Chairwoman Song Mingxia, Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing Center Wu Ling, heads of various workshops, and more than 100 employees.

Nine teams from the workshop and various departments took part in this competition. The event featured four rounds: mandatory questions, quick-response questions, risk-based questions, and bonus questions, covering a wide range of topics including laws and regulations on work safety, fire safety knowledge, emergency rescue procedures, and the management of hazardous chemicals. In addition, interactive questions were introduced after each round to ensure that every employee had the opportunity to participate in the quiz.
The atmosphere at the competition venue was vibrant and gripping, with each participating team brimming with energy and unwavering determination, and every contestant displaying high spirits and composure. Throughout the contest, the nine teams kept pace with one another, refusing to yield an inch, resulting in fiercely competitive exchanges; the contestants’ outstanding responses repeatedly drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.

After two hours of intense competition, the Security Department team delivered an outstanding performance to win first prize, while the Storage and Transportation Department team and the Property Management Department team were awarded second prize. The teams from Workshop 102, Workshop 202, and Workshop 203 each received third prize.

The head of the Group’s Safety Department stated that, by leveraging knowledge competitions as an engaging and educational activity, they aim to disseminate safety production knowledge, encourage and guide employees to proactively participate in safety initiatives, strengthen their sense of responsibility and urgency regarding safety, and further enhance their safety awareness. Moving forward, the Safety Department will continue to effectively implement publicity and education programs, inspections, and drills, ensuring these efforts are carried out on a regular and sustained basis—emphasizing both “regularity” and “long-term commitment”—to achieve lasting results through persistent, long-term engagement. By continuously strengthening these initiatives, the Department seeks to accelerate the establishment of a long-term mechanism for safety culture promotion and education, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of the Group’s safety production performance.

Group President Wu Hengyao pointed out that this safety knowledge competition has played a significant role in broadly promoting and popularizing knowledge of workplace safety, as well as in advancing the standardization and institutionalization of safety management. All employees are urged to prioritize workplace safety and to take this knowledge competition and the accompanying Safety Month activities as opportunities to integrate the company’s safety culture into their daily safety practices, thereby fostering a robust safety-conscious environment in which everyone learns about and emphasizes safety, and where safety is embedded in every task and maintained at all times and in all settings. It is essential to continuously strengthen learning about workplace safety, comprehensively enhance safety and health awareness and professional ethics, and further consolidate the foundation for safe production. Through extensive publicity, every employee must develop a clear understanding of the importance of safety prevention, facilitating a shift from “superficial awareness” to “deep comprehension,” from “it doesn’t concern me” to “it is closely relevant to me,” and from “being made to be safe” to “wanting to be safe.”
