On July 29, the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration convened a symposium on supporting the innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, attended the meeting by invitation and delivered a speech.
To fully implement the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government’s conference on advancing the development of the provincial capital, to ensure the effective implementation of the “Several Measures (Trial) for Supporting the Pioneering Breakthroughs of the New-Generation Electronic Information Industry and the Biopharmaceutical Industry” issued by the General Offices of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee and the Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government, and to promote high-quality, leapfrog development of the pharmaceutical industry, on July 29 the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration convened a symposium on supporting innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Xu Yanzeng, Director of the Provincial Drug Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while Li Xun, Second-Level Inspector of the Provincial Drug Administration, chaired the meeting. Feng Suwei, Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration, and Wu Shuke, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission, also attended the meeting and spoke. Relevant officials from the relevant divisions of the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration, along with the heads of 13 pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic manufacturing enterprises based in the provincial capital, participated in the symposium.
At the symposium, Wu Shuke, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission, provided an interpretation of the “Several Measures for Supporting the Pioneering Breakthroughs of the New-Generation Electronic Information Industry and the Biopharmaceutical Industry” issued by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government.
Heads of 13 participating companies, including Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, North China Pharmaceutical Group, Shiyao Group, Yiling Pharmaceutical, and Shenwei Pharmaceutical, delivered remarks one after another, offering suggestions and recommendations on accelerating the implementation of the “Several Measures,” leveraging the new stage of development, and further promoting the accelerated growth of enterprises and the innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry.
Xu Yanzeng, Feng Suwei, and other officials listened attentively to the enterprises’ presentations, asked detailed questions about relevant matters, and engaged in in-depth discussions with participants on several issues, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere on site.
After listening to the views and suggestions put forward by enterprise leaders, Xu Yanzeng stated that the Provincial Drug Administration will carefully collate and analyze these inputs, do everything possible to resolve the difficulties and problems faced by enterprises, proactively foster a business environment that is convenient for both the public and businesses, better serve enterprises, and thereby promote the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the provincial capital and across the province. Xu Yanzeng emphasized that drug regulatory authorities at both the provincial and municipal levels will, as always, encourage and support enterprises in seizing the development opportunities presented by major policies and measures, striving to achieve significant breakthroughs in areas of comparative advantage, common technologies, and critical technologies, and contributing to the pioneering advancement of the biopharmaceutical industry in the provincial capital. He further urged pharmaceutical companies to steadfastly pursue reform and innovation, increase R&D investment, overcome a number of “bottleneck” key technologies, and actively promote product innovation, technological innovation, and market innovation. By relying on high-quality products and superior services, companies should swiftly capture market share and enhance their core competitiveness. At the same time, they must consolidate the two fundamental pillars of safety and development, consistently ensure product quality, embrace the concept of green development, and lay a solid foundation for achieving high-quality enterprise growth.
Feng Suwei stated that the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation will carefully review and synthesize feedback and suggestions from enterprises, refine and improve supporting documents such as the “Detailed Rules on Qualification Accreditation and Incentives for Leading-Industry Enterprises to Develop Domestic and International Markets” and the “Implementation Details for the Accreditation of Innovative Drugs, Generic Drugs, and Medical Devices,” further establish robust platforms for exchange, ensure smooth communication channels, continuously strengthen ties with enterprises, fully leverage the functional strengths of the market regulation authorities to address enterprise needs, and inject strong momentum into promoting high-quality enterprise development.
