【SUMMARY】 “Over eight years, we conducted comprehensive and systematic research and development on the integrated processes, equipment, and materials for upright-bag infusion systems and their packaging, elevating product quality to a new level.” On July 28, at the Second National Master Craftsmen Innovation Exchange Conference, technicians from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group were enthusiastically explaining their innovative achievements to visitors who had stopped by their exhibit booth.

“Over eight years, we conducted comprehensive and systematic research and development on the integrated processes, equipment, and materials for upright-bag infusion systems and their packaging, elevating product quality to a new level.” On July 28, at the Second National Master Craftsmen Innovation Exchange Conference, technicians from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group were enthusiastically explaining their innovative achievements to visitors who had stopped by their exhibit booth.

On that day, the Second National Conference on Innovation and Exchange among Master Craftsmen of a Great Power, themed “Craftsmanship Builds Dreams, Skills Serve the Country,” opened at the Beijing Exhibition Hall, hosted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. The conference features six major exhibition and exchange zones, including a zone for master craftsmen of a great power, a zone for the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and zones for industry-specific trade unions, among others. These areas showcase the innovative achievements of model workers and skilled artisans, outstanding technological innovations by employees, outcomes of the “Five Smalls” employee innovation initiative, and innovative contributions by female craftsmen, with more than 1,200 employee innovation projects on display. The event has attracted over 500 model workers and skilled artisans from 47 participating organizations nationwide, who are engaging in on-site exhibitions, exchanges, and mutual learning.

Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s “Development and Industrialization of Key Technologies for Vertical Polypropylene Infusion Bags” was showcased as an exemplary achievement in employee technological innovation at the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and Hebei Province exhibitions. According to the introduction, this innovative breakthrough integrates industry-leading technologies, including composite caps, dual-valve vertical infusion bags and their manufacturing processes, double-layer sterile packaging technology for vertical-bag infusions, integrated ring-and-bottle (or bag) infusion containers, and sealing-performance testing methods for composite caps used in plastic infusion containers. The technology is highly practical, widely applicable, highly promotable, and ensures superior quality and safety, serving as a strong model within the industry. It has resulted in four invention patents and the establishment of eight pharmaceutical standards. The project was awarded the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ Outstanding Employee Technological Achievement Award and the Second Prize for Outstanding Employee Technological Innovation in Hebei Province.

“In recent years, the Group Trade Union has extensively organized mass-based technological innovation activities, proactively established platforms for labor and skills competitions, carried out in-depth on-the-job training and skill contests, continuously strengthened the development of employee innovation studios, and consistently stimulated employees’ enthusiasm for innovation and their creative vitality. To date, more than 1,000 employee-led technological innovations have been completed,” said Huang Xiaofeng, Chairman of the Group Trade Union. He added that the enterprise places great emphasis on building an employee-driven technological innovation system characterized by smooth innovation processes, sound working mechanisms, and comprehensive support measures, while actively advancing the reform of the industrial workforce to ensure it is deepened and effectively implemented. Moving forward, the Group will take its participation in the National Conference on Innovation and Exchange among Master Craftsmen as an opportunity to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, guide more employees to join the ranks of talent dedicated to innovation and value creation, and continuously propel the Group’s high-quality, leapfrog development.
