More than 100 professional technical personnel and senior managers holding mid- to high-level professional and technical titles from drug regulatory authorities, drug testing institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D enterprises, hospital pharmacy departments, and pharmaceutical research institutes across the country are participating in this program.
Recently, the Advanced Training Program on “National Pharmaceutical Inspection and Testing Technologies and Biotechnology,” hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and organized by the Hebei Provincial Institute for Drug and Medical Device Testing, officially commenced. More than 100 professional and technical personnel holding mid- to senior-level professional titles, as well as senior managers, from drug regulatory authorities, drug testing institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D enterprises, hospital pharmacy departments, and pharmaceutical research institutes across the country are participating in this program.
On September 14, during the field study component of the training program, the Provincial Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Testing Institute organized a visit to the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, where participants engaged in observation and exchange activities centered on the theme “How to better support the high-quality development of the national pharmaceutical industry throughout the entire lifecycle of drugs.”
Sun Lijie, Group Executive President and General Manager of the R&D Center, together with relevant heads of the R&D Center, briefed the participants on the Group’s industrial development overview and showcased the research and innovation achievements attained in recent years. The participants then toured the Group’s R&D laboratories in several groups and engaged in lively discussions on topics such as research management and talent development, with all expressing that they had gained substantial insights and felt the visit had been well worth their while.
According to reports, this advanced training program will be held over five days. It has specially invited renowned domestic experts and scholars in the industry to deliver systematic coursework, conduct case studies and academic seminars, and organize on-site study tours. The curriculum covers such topics as the R&D and production development trends of generic drugs, common issues and key considerations in drug registration, critical inspection points and typical deficiencies in pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, the theory and practice of microbial-method suitability testing under the new GMP guidelines, as well as research on methods for authenticating traditional Chinese medicinal products and related case-sharing sessions. These activities are designed to help participants update their professional knowledge, explore new perspectives, enhance their technical skills, deepen their research and analysis of the industry, closely monitor developments in the pharmaceutical sector, strengthen efforts to advance pharmaceutical testing and biotechnology R&D, promote the deep integration of biopharmaceuticals with next-generation information technologies, and make significant contributions to the advancement of Healthy China.
