To deepen the integration of industry and education and better support the high-quality development of biopharmaceutical enterprises in Shijiazhuang, on September 20, Wang Hongwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University, led a delegation to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group for a fact-finding visit and exchange. Wang Jing, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University, along with heads of relevant school departments, attended the exchange event. They were accompanied by group leaders Su Xuejun, Sun Lijie, Tian Pengmei, and others.

Wang Jing, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University, along with heads of relevant school departments, attended the exchange event. The group was accompanied by Su Xuejun, Sun Lijie, Tian Pengmei, and other senior leaders of the company.
During the symposium, Su Xuejun, Chairman of the Group, extended a warm welcome to Wang Hongwei and his delegation on their visit for inspection and exchange. He provided a detailed overview of how, in recent years, the Group has been driven by innovation, deepened reforms of its research management system, intensified efforts to attract talent and foster industry–university collaboration, and continuously empowered the enterprise’s high-quality, innovation-led development. He also expressed gratitude for the substantial support provided by the School of Pharmacy of the Medical University in advancing talent cultivation and collaborative research initiatives with Shisi Pharmaceutical Group.
Su Xuejun stated that Hebei Medical University is a key pillar institution of the province and a leading hub for pharmaceutical research and innovation. In recent years, the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University has maintained a strong collaborative relationship with Shisi Pharmaceutical Group in talent development and research and development, particularly in areas such as cultivating high-level talent and jointly tackling critical core technologies for innovative drugs, yielding solid and tangible results that have effectively elevated university–enterprise cooperation to a new level. He expressed the hope that both parties will continue to seize the policy opportunities and favorable development environment offered by the province and Shijiazhuang to encourage and support the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry, further expand cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and the commercialization of research outcomes, accelerate mutually beneficial development between the university and the enterprise, and strive to make new contributions toward achieving breakthroughs ahead of others in Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical sector.
Wang Hongwei stated that the Pharmacy program at the Medical University is a nationally recognized distinctive major and a provincial key discipline, as well as a leading, distinctive discipline in Hebei Province and a discipline under the “Double First-Class” initiative, enjoying strong advantages in talent cultivation and scientific research. In recent years, the School of Pharmacy has taken serving industrial development as its starting point, actively exploring an integrated talent-development model, vigorously advancing reforms in internship and training bases and the “dual-mentor” system, and precisely cultivating innovative pharmacy professionals urgently needed by industry. The school is committed to delivering high-quality talent to enterprises and industries, with its graduates being highly regarded by key pharmaceutical companies in the province, such as Shisi Pharmaceutical Group. She added that the school will align its efforts more closely with the needs of enterprises and industrial development, deepen collaboration with businesses on talent cultivation and research-project matching, better leverage its strengths, and provide higher-quality services to support national and local economic and social development.
The symposium was marked by a lively atmosphere, with both sides engaging in thorough and in-depth discussions and reaching a consensus on deepening the integration of industry and education.
