To further assist enterprises in alleviating their difficulties, enhance their law-based operations and management, and support the development of a rule-of-law business environment in our province, a “Bringing the Law to Enterprises to Protect the Business Environment” rule-of-law publicity campaign was jointly organized on October 31 by the Proposal Committee and the Committee on Social Affairs and the Rule of Law of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, together with the Provincial Higher People’s Court, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Provincial Enterprise Confederation, and held at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group.
Leaders from the Proposal Committee and the Committee on Social and Legal Affairs of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, judges of the Provincial People’s Court, lawyer members of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and responsible officials from the Legal Services Department of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Employer Affairs Department of the Provincial Enterprise Confederation engaged in interactive exchanges with more than 30 enterprise representatives from various sectors. The Group’s head of legal affairs shared their practical insights on strengthening and improving corporate rule-of-law development to promote high-quality enterprise growth, in dialogue with the attending leaders, judges, lawyers, and enterprise representatives.
During the event, judges from the Provincial Court provided guidance on how businesses can effectively avoid disputes arising from sales contracts and equity transactions, and analyzed, with reference to real-world cases, strategies for safeguarding corporate rights and interests. Following the presentations, business representatives raised specific questions regarding practical issues they face in their operations, such as intellectual property protection, commercial contract disputes, and the enforcement of final judgments. In response, the judges and lawyers addressed each query individually and offered recommendations on how to protect, in accordance with the law, the property rights of private enterprises and the rights and interests of entrepreneurs.
The business representatives in attendance stated that the “Bringing the Law to Enterprises to Protect the Business Environment” initiative is both timely and highly practical, with content that closely aligns with the needs of enterprises, provides guidance through its answers, and helps promote law-based and compliant operations, enhance risk-prevention capabilities, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and entrepreneurs.
