This achievement heralds a new chapter in the company’s innovative development as it embarks on the year ahead.

On the very first day of work in 2024, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group announced another exciting milestone in its R&D and innovation efforts: the company’s newly developed Class 3 chemical drug, Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets (II) (20 mg), has received production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration, which is deemed equivalent to passing the consistency evaluation. This achievement heralds a new chapter in the company’s innovative development as it embarks on the year ahead.
According to available information, nifedipine sustained-release tablets (II) are primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic stable angina, vasospastic angina, and essential hypertension.
To date, the Group has achieved consistency or deemed-consistency evaluation for a total of 68 drug varieties encompassing 88 dosage forms and strengths, with its generic drug consistency evaluation efforts continuing to advance and placing it among the leaders in the domestic industry.
