Following a rigorous process that included grassroots recommendations, expert reviews, and public announcements, 100 outstanding skilled professionals from 75 industries and 81 organizations across the city were selected. Wang Hui from the R&D Center, Jiang Deguang from the Manufacturing Center, and Zhang Xu from the Quality Management Center of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group were among those honored as “Shijiazhuang Craftsmen.”
The second “Shijiazhuang Craftsman” selection honored a total of 100 individuals, open to employees in frontline skilled positions at enterprises and public institutions across the city—including those affiliated with central and provincial authorities stationed in Shijiazhuang—excluding recipients of the “China Skills Grand Award,” National Technical Experts, experts receiving special allowances from the State Council, provincially managed outstanding experts, experts receiving special allowances from the provincial government, and provincial technicians who have made outstanding contributions, as well as eligible freelancers.
Skilled personnel are the top performers among technical workers and serve as a vital force underpinning “Made in China” and “Created in China.” Jiang Deguang has been deeply rooted in the Group’s production frontline for nearly two decades, steadily advancing from an ordinary frontline worker to a highly skilled professional. This year, he was honored as a “Shijiazhuang Craftsman.” He said with great satisfaction: “Being named a ‘Shijiazhuang Craftsman’ is both an encouragement and a call to action. Moving forward, I will remain committed to my post, strive for continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail, and contribute even more through superior product and work quality to the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.”
According to reports, the selection and management of “Shijiazhuang Craftsmen” is an important initiative in the effort to build a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital. It serves as a key platform and effective means for driving breakthroughs in the two emerging industries of next-generation information technology and biopharmaceuticals, fostering the development of more than five industrial clusters each with an output value exceeding RMB 100 billion, and accelerating the cultivation of a large pool of high-caliber workers and highly skilled professionals. By organizing this selection program, the initiative aims to further inspire employees across the city to actively learn new technologies, hone their skills, and enhance their overall competence, thereby cultivating a positive social atmosphere that champions “learning from craftsmen and striving to become craftsmen.”
